Ramsey County <br />561 was not interested, Anoka and Washington Counties were <br />562 significantly higher and Lino Lakes was lower than the proposed <br />563 Circle Pines/Lexington Police budget for 1995. Council member <br />564 Wilharber expressed Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department <br />565 provides a safe atomsphere and generates significant revenues for <br />566 the City of Centerville. <br />567 <br />568 Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to approve the 1995 Police <br />569 Contract Budget for a one year contract with the Circle <br />570 Pines/Lexington Police Department in the amount of $160,424.00, <br />571 the Cities of Circle Pines, Lexington and Centerville <br />572 are to continue to investigate the option of a Joint <br />573 Powers Agreement, <br />574 motion carried unanimously. <br />575 <br />576 Mayor Buckbee noted the comments regarding the Circle <br />577 Pines/Lexington Police Department have also been positive. <br />578 <br />579 Chief VanBurkleo noted the Circle Pines/Lexington Police <br />580 Department considers it a privilege to work with the Centerville <br />581 City Council and its citizens. <br />582 <br />583 Council member Wilharber noted he had received a letter from <br />584 Anoka County regarding support of our law enforcement officers. <br />585 Council member Wilharber expressed his personal thank you to all <br />586 law enforcement officers and thanks the Anoka Board of <br />587 Commissioners Chairperson for bringing the letter to his <br />588 attention. <br />589 <br />590 1994 Street Work Changes Update. <br />591 Mayor Buckbee noted the Engineering Liaison have met with Paul <br />592 Palzer, Public Works Director/Building Inspector and John <br />593 Stewart, City Engineer, regarding the 1994 Street Work Changes. <br />594 It is noted the intersection near Peltier Lake Drive and <br />
