Motion failed due to lack of second. <br /> <br />Motion by Dario, second by Buckbee to direct Richard DeFoe, <br />Waterworks Beach Club owner, to work with city staff to request <br />the state of Minnesota Highway Department and contractor <br />regarding directional signage on County Road J to Centerville <br />Road to the City of Centerville and businesses; <br />to direct City staff and businesses owners to find the <br />best options for directing traffic to local businesses <br />using City or County street; <br />to contact other businesses owners regarding their <br />input; <br />AYE - Buckbee; AYE - Dario; NAY - Brenner; NAY - Helmbrecht, <br />motion failed. <br /> <br />Motion by <br />work with <br />Road J; <br /> <br />Helmbrecht, second by Brenner to direct City staff to <br />the state of Minnesota for better signage on County <br /> <br />and that better signage be placed along the currently <br />assigned detour route using the County Roads, <br />AYE - Brenner; AYE - Helmbrecht; NAY - Buckbee; NAY - Dario, <br />motion failed. <br /> <br />Clerk/Administrator Tamara Miltz-Miller noted the City Council <br />previously approved the traffic being rerouted to the north using <br />Mill Road and Peltier Lake Drive. This is the route that was <br />approved in the original Plans and Specifications. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second Dario to direct City staff to work with <br />Mr. DeFoe in anyway that does not violate City ordinance if it <br />includes signage placed on private property; <br />the City Attorney shall verify the placement of signs <br />on private property does not violate city ordinance; <br />staff is directed to not spend more than two hours <br />regarding the investigation; <br />staff is requested to ensure that private property <br />owners rights are not violated, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Open Meeting Law Insurance. <br />Motion by Dario, second by Brenner to direct City staff to obtain <br />Open Meeting Law Defence Cost Coverage from the League of <br />Minnesota cities Insurance Trust; <br />staff is requested to investigate the term of the <br />
