<br />JOINT MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br />AND STAR CITY COMMITTEE <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1994 - 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council held a <br />special joint meeting with the Economic Development Committee and <br />Star City Committee on Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at the City <br />Hall. The purpose of meeting was to discuss the Star City <br />Application to include, but not limited to, fact booklet, video, <br />review of five year goals and one year action plan. Mayor <br />Buckbee called the meeting to order 7:12 p.m. <br />Present: <br />city Council <br />Mayor Buckbee <br />Council member Brenner <br />Council member Dario <br />Council member Helmbrecht <br />Council member Wilharber <br /> <br />Economic Development Committee <br />Committee member MaGill <br />Committee member Montain <br />Committee member Rehbein <br />Committee member Tourville <br /> <br />Star City Committee <br />Committee member Brenner <br />Committee member Montain <br />Committee member Scheller <br />Committee member Doug Yauch <br />Committee member Doreen Yauch (arrived 7:50 p.m.) <br />Committee member Zerwas <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Star city Committee <br />Chairperson Neumann <br /> <br />Sandee Heinman, 1983 North Robin Lane, was present. <br /> <br />Council member Brenner updated the members present regarding the <br />progress of the Star City Committee. She explained the purpose <br />of tonight's meeting is to view the video and seek input <br />regarding the fact booklet and five year goals and one year <br />action plan of the Star City Committee. <br /> <br />Video <br />Star City Committee member Dennis Zerwas explained he has <br />prepared a video of Centerville for submittal with the Star City <br />Application. Committee member Zerwas asked that the persons <br />present be critical while criticizing the video. He would like <br />suggestions for improvements or additions. He also noted it is <br />easier the make any changes now. <br />
