Copies of these letters are on file i <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg noted the following punch list items ~ <br />completed: .1 <br />Mandrel all sanitary sewer lines; <br />Deliver guard rail to City from south side of I <br />Road at Quebec street; j <br />Excavate area around baffled weir and repairi <br />required. <br />Mr. Nyberg noted some additional silt fencing has been in: <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee asked why the silt fencing was not inst; <br />specified. <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg stated there has been no excuse or reason give1 <br />knowledge. Mr. Nyberg noted the developer is actively wo: <br />the punch list items. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee noted he met with Bob Burgstahler, 7381 l <br />Road, regarding damage to the street abutting his I <br />property line. The damage appears to be substantial, al <br />are major chunks of blacktop missing. Mayor Buckbee WI <br />damage investigated and questioned whose responsibility <br />fix it. Al Salo, inspector on site representing MS~, <br />Consulting Engineers, immediately contacte~ Metro .Counc~l <br />Wastewater Services (MCWS). The break was qu~ckly repa~red and <br />service was not interrupted. Per the request of MCWS, a two foot <br />wide layer of high density foam insulation between the forcemain <br />and the arch pipe will be installed. <br /> <br />The Contractor is <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg reviewed a letter dated September 18, 1994 regarding <br />the Dornseif property tree removal. A copy of this letter is on <br />file with the Clerk/Administrator. Mr. Nyberg noted MSA <br />Consulting Engineers and Palda and Sons will share in the cost of <br />the tree replacement. <br /> <br />Council member Dario expressed concern with a cash settlement. <br />He would like to make sure the settlement is used to replace the <br />trees. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee questioned if protective fencing is to be placed at <br />the Peltier Lake Drive culvert crossing. Mr. <br />Street is more of a visible <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht that due to the safety <br />concerns along the Peltier Lake Drive culvert crossing to direct <br />City staff and engineer to investigate the fencing options <br />available and cost estimates, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg noted a letter from Rice Creek Watershed District <br />dated September 28, 1994 has been received. Kate Drewry, <br />District Administrator, has administratively approved the request <br />for change in the rip rap specifications along County Road 14. A <br />copy of this letter is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg reviewed a letter dated September 26, 1994 regarding <br />the floodplain profile re-evaluation. Mr. Nyberg noted the <br />application fee to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to <br />begin the process is $1,065.00. A copy of this letter is on file <br />with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg updated the City Council regarding the requirement of <br />
