Ms. Miltz-Miller noted she has
established procedures.

the City
to youth
followed

Council member Helmbrecht expressed concern regarding the
Centennial Wrestling Club being denied their request for a dunk
tank fund raiser during the City Celebration.

Sanna Buckbee, Assistant City Clerk, noted she did not receive a
request from anyone from the Centennial Wrestling Club for use of
the dunk tank.

Ms. Buckbee noted that the Centennial Little Leaque is reauested
each year to place their request in writing to the Park and
Recreation Committee to consider their requested use of the
fields. Ms. Buckbee suggested that the person in charge of the
organization may change from year to year, and perhaps the new
person is not made aware of the Centerville Park and Recreation
Committee's policy that requests be submitted in writing.

Mayor Buckbee noted the City of Centerville is youth orientated.
The City has spent money on new playground equipment, supports
the Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department bicycle rodeo and
there are youth activities provided at the City Celebration.
Mayor Buckbee expressed there is a lot done for the benefit of
youth within the City of Centerville, however more can a~ways be
done.

Mayor Buckbee noted he does appreciate receiving information itl
advance of a City Council meeting. Mayor Buckbee also noted the
importance of receiving clear and timely requests.

NEW BUSINESS:

Center Hills. Third Addition - Violation of City Ordinance and
Development Aqreement.
The City Council reviewed a letter dated October 27, 1993 from
John and Rosalind Jennrich, 7284 Brian Drive, regarding seed
versus sod in their front yard.

A copy of this letter;s attached to and made a part of these
minutes.

It was noted that City ordinance requires the Developer to sod
the front and side yards of the lots. It appears the Developer
is forwarding this respon~ibility on to the build~rl who is
forwarding the responsibility on to the property owners.

The City Council reviewed a sample ordinance from the City
