City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />March 4, 2008 <br />Vice Chair Love mentioned the issues of corner lots/yards and the fencing of swimming <br />pools relative to the struggle the Commission has had with definitions and enforcement <br />versus enforceability. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />City Administrator Larson stated that he believes the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />has substantially addressed Subd.154, items 1 through 6 of the Zoning Code. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission confirmed that it is satisfied with the proposed <br />revisions of Subd.154, items 1 through 6 of the Zoning Code. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission discussed revisions to Subd.154, items 7 throughl6 <br />of the Zoning Code. <br />Councilmember Broussard-Vickers informed the Commission that the City Council would <br />hold a workshop to discuss code enforcement. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br />None <br />VL DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />1. Draft Comprehensive Plan <br />Mr. Brendon Slotterback, Bonestroo, presented the recent updates and changes to the <br />Comprehensive Plan. He distributed the updated transportation and parks and trails maps <br />and the revised MLTSA Staging and Household and Population Growth Chart. He stated <br />that the formatting was updated and a table of contents added. <br />City Administrator Larson reported that the City received written approval of a $750,000 <br />grant to build trails indicated on the updated Parks and Trails map. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Slotterback explained that the next steps include making any additional edits to the <br />draft Comprehensive Plan, holding a public open house on March 27, 2008 to review the <br />draft plan, and submitting the plan to the City Council on April 9, 2008 for approval of <br />jurisdictional review. <br />VII.
