If you'll notice, even streets without proposed sidewalks have
been assigned sidewalk costs. Again, the total cost of sidewalks and trails
on the project has been evenly distributed amongst all streets which are
having street work done.

Also, this spreadsheet only showS total costs and does not represent the
amount being assessed to property owners. Some columns may be 100%
assessed, some may not be assessed at all and others will fall somewhere in
between.

Prairie Drive shows a small cost under "water main cost" for replacement of
corroding bolts. The City has had problems with regular steel bolts
corroding and causing leaks. As we reconstruct streets, it is prudent to take
care of that problem to avoid digging In your new street to fix a water main
break. You'll n9tlce that all streets except the mill and overlay streets have
this same cost even though they already have water main. The only other
exceptions are the B2improvements where the water main is new enough to
have been installed with corrosion resistant bolts. Again, this cost will not
necessarily be assessed to you.

Hope I answered your questions. Is this referring to the Bike
path on Mill Road. If so, why are you calling it a sidewalk? Also, I thought
this was being paid by the "City" as a whole so why Is It in the project
assessments cost estimates? Looks to me like the people getting assessed
will be paying for this twice. If I'm mistaken, please clarify.

Also, why is Prairie Drive listed with $6800 for watermaln cost? Water is
already down Prairie Drive. I have water from Praire Drive which this
property was already assessed for. I know for a fact that you cannot assess
a property twice for the same utility so lease explain this too.

Thanks-
Melody Meath
7246 Mill Road
