Both of these properties have excellent well water and relatively recently installed pumps.
There is no necessity for incurring the cost of installing water service to these properties and and the resulting
lower quality drinking water.

We have heard that there have also been some discussions regarding possible improvements to the road,
including possibly making it a city street. As a reminder, the lots and easements were originally designed to
provide the properties along the lake side of the property line access when the second house was built on the
road about 1962. It was then foreseen that when/if a developer chose to develop the field toward the Water
Works and wanted to share a common road access to Main street, that developer would provide a complimentary
strip of property, construct the road centered on the property line, and provide it to the city, as is normal for
developing parcels. With the tennis court recently added along the drive, it is evident that there is no intention by
the developer to have access from the parcel to Main Street by converting LaValle Drive into a city street. With
regard to our properties, we therefore prefer to continue to self-maintain the road in cooperation with the other
neighbors with whom we have maintenance agreements and are not interested in adding any additional access
points to it.

We can be reached at the phone numbers below if you wish to discuss these issues further.

Dean & Kathi LaValle
7242 LaValle Drive
Centerville, MN 55038
Home: 651.429.2448
Cell: Dean - 612.710.0234 Kathi - 651.269.4838
Work: Dean - 651.528.5241 Kathi - 651.407.4177

This email has been scanned by the MessageLabs Email Security System.
For more information please visit http://www.messagelabs.com/email

5/28/2008
