The Planning and <br />Zoning Commission will discuss this at their November 3, 1987 <br />ITJeet irlg . <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharberto adapt a resolution to .~ <br />allot 70% of the fee collected for bt~ft/~:rihk pel'rrJi t.s tC) Glll:l11Etl<~'..J. <br />Pettersen, Building Inspector versus the 80% that he has received <br />in the past, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to direct City Clerk to <br />research the cost for fireproof file cabinets and the cost to <br />microfilm City documents, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br />Council member Neumann noted that the street lights are still out <br />on South Robin Lane and that there still is not a street light on <br />County Road 54 and Main Street intersection. Neumann will obtain <br />the necessary phone numbers and take care of these two lights. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Wilharber to direct City Clerk to <br />send a second letter to 1989 North Robin Lane and 1994 North <br />Robin Lane requesting written confirmation as to when the fences <br />and landscape logs within the City street right of way will be <br />moved; the letter will include that if the written confirmation <br />is not received legal advise concerning this matter will be <br />sought, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to discuss the possibility <br />of amending the gun ordinance at the November 9, 1987 meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor LrAllier expressed concern <br />Centerville Heights drove equipment <br />perrniss ior1 . <br /> <br />that a contractor for <br />across private land without <br /> <br />Discussion of sweeper for the rink. Dale Larson, Public Works <br />Employee noted that if parts can be obtained, the Public Works <br />Employees can fix the sweeper themselves. Council noted that 916 <br />would fix the sweeper with free labor. Dan Tourville 6994 <br />Centerville Road volunteered to deliver and pick up the sweeper <br />to and from 916 Va-Tech. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to adapt a resolution to <br />recommend to the postmaster that modular mailboxes be installed <br />for the persons wtl0 live in culdesacs or on dead end streets in (, <br />Center Oaks II, LrAllier Estates, and Centerville Heights, <br />contingent upon attorney approval of action by resolution, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
