Shadow Lk. Dr., Lino Lakes, Mn.. 55014,
presented a petition for local improvement of Sorel St. Between the
East side of Centerville Lake & Goiffon Street. Mr. Mullins estimates
the length of the proposed street improvement of that section of Sorel
Street would be about )00-)10 feet.

John Stewart estimates $40.00 per foot for bituminous roadway and
$6.00 per foot for curb & gutter. The total rough estimate of the
improvement to be approximately $15,000.00 to $18,000.00.

It was determined that curb & gutter may be installed to remain
consistant with developments such as Center Oaks II and that it may
be advantagous to that area due to the drop off near Centerville Lake.

Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to adopt Resolution 87-9
declaring adequacy of petition presented by Kevin Mullins~requesting
the improvement of Sorel Street between the east end of Centerville
Lake & Goiffon Street, and ordering preparation of. a feasibility
report to be completed by Maier, Stewart & Associates, motion carried
unanimously.

Bill Hawkins advised that the church/municipal parking lot on the
proposed improvement section of Sorel Street would be vacated when
the improvement project were ordered & bids for the project were
accepted.

John Stewart presented a report on the bids for the seal coating
~roject. Low bidder was Allied Blacktop Company, Maple Grove at
$14,895.40. Mr. Stewart noted that this is a segmented bid, one
including Royal Meadows, at $14895.40, one excluding Royal Meadows
at $12,)72.00. He also noted that the project currently has a 60 day
hold.

City representatives will do the inspection on the seal coating
project, Maier Stewart & Associates., City Engineers, will direct
the representatives on what is required. City Engineers will be
in Centerville for the Road Reconstruction Project inspections,
so could overlap to some seal coating inspections.
