This letter <br />is on file with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon to dead end Peltier Lake <br />Drive at Centerville Road, aye: Fritchie, Robischon; nay: <br />Laska, L'Allier, motion failed. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by L'Allier to install the stop signs, <br />speed warning signs, and speed zone signs on Peltier Lake Drive <br />per the recommendation of the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation, District 5 in a letter to the City Council; and <br />to have City Clerk notify the Lino Lakes Police Department that <br />these roads are posted at 25 mph, motion carried uananiously. <br /> <br />The letter from the Minnesota Department of Transportation, <br />District 5 specifying the stop signs, warning signs and speed <br />zone signs is on file with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by L'Allier to request that Maier, <br />Stewart complete a feasibility study/review for Centerville <br />Heights, including an investigation into the feasibility study of <br />municipal water in the preparation of that study; Harstad <br />Companies will escrow $1,200.00 with the City of Centerville for <br />this feasibility study/review, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Laska to amend Ordinance # 8 as <br />per the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission to <br />incorporate an R-2A zoning district, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The above amendments to Ordinance #8 are attached to and made a <br />part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Discussion of the rezoning of Lot 11, Auditor's Subdivision <br />number 47, Section 14, Township 31, Range 22; and part of Lot 1, <br />Auditor's Subdivision number 48, Section 23, Township 31, Range <br />22, Anoka County. This is where the proposed L'Allier Estates II <br />would be if approved. <br /> <br />Norman Livgard, representing Parent Constuction, stated that 11 <br />soil borings were done. Nineteen feet deep for streets and 9 <br />feet for building Bites. No peat was found, the soils were all <br />clay. No actual standing water was encountered. <br /> <br />Opposition by the audience members: <br />Carol Pelton, 7178 Mill Road <br />Cindy Meyer, 7223 Mill Road. <br />Letter of opposition from John Probst, 7176 <br />presented to the Council.
