<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Page Three <br />September 10, 1987 <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann that Council member <br />Fritchie will go to the October Solid Waste Abatement Task Force <br />meeting, Council member Neumann will attend the following <br />meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber to continue to appeal the <br />1987 3% levy limit, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />City Engineer presented a letter to the City Council regarding <br />the possibility of vacating a drainage easement on Outlot A <br />Peltier Lake Hills Addition, per the request of the property <br />owner, Edward Albrect, 1729 Peltier Lake Drive. That letter is <br />on file with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to direct the City Clerk <br />to check with City Attorney regarding the cost of vacating a <br />portion of the drainage easement; at the request of the property <br />owner of Outlot A Peltier Lake Hills Addition a change can be <br />made from a total 60 foot drainage easement to a 20 foot drainage <br />easement on the most westerly side of the outlot; the cost of <br />vacating a portion of this drainage easement will be born by the <br />benefitting property owner, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of possible exception to the City of Centerville/Kenco <br />Construction Center Oaks II development contract. Earl and Judy <br />Patton request permission to obtain an Occupancy Permit to occupy <br />their home on Lot 1, Block 2 prior to completion of the streets <br />in Center Oaks II. They advise that they will be parking on the <br />old blacktop in Center Oaks I. City Engineer advises that the <br />sewer testing will be done on September 11, 1987 and since the <br />Pattons would like to move in September 12, 1987, this should not <br />be a problem from an engineering standpoint. The sewer for this <br />lot flows west. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to grant an exception to <br />the City of Centerville/Kenco Construction Center Oaks II <br />development contract, to allow Earl and Judy Patton to request an <br />Occupancy Permit from the Building Inspector for September 12, <br />1987 prior to the completion of the streets in Center Oaks II, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />City Engineer presented a letter to the City Council regarding <br />the Wegleitner's Addition plat. That letter is on file with the <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie per the City Engineer's <br />recommendation that the Wegleitner Addition is compatible to the <br />
