Committee Chairperson Pelton and Committee <br />member LeTendre will seek reappointment for the 1988 year. <br />Committee member Appel will continue through 1987, but will not <br />seek reappointment in 1988. Committee member Koch will resign in <br />1987. No such information is known regarding Committee member <br />Paschke. <br /> <br />Clerk will notify Dan Tourville, 6994 Centerville Road about ball <br />tournaments at the same time the Lino Lakes Police are notified, <br />to better coordinate the cutting of the grass on the ball fields. <br /> <br />At the September 23, 1987 Council meeting, Council will discuss <br />with representatives of the proposed Centerville Heights project, <br />the recommendation of fine grading the park, four inches of <br />topsoil and the length of time the developer will be responsible <br />for the mowing of the proposed park in that project. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Discussion of hockey rink. Dan Tourville, 6994 Centerville Road <br />recommends new lights and poles, versus using the old ones. A <br />temporary warming house is being sought. The rink may not be <br />moved this year. Discussion of adults versus high school <br />students for rink attendants. <br /> <br />All Council members agreed that the Park and Recreation Committee <br />members are all very dedicated individuals and are doing a very <br />good job. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie that in response to the <br />Centennial Fire Commission letter dated August 17, 1987 regarding <br />the 1987 audit of the Centennial Fire District, a letter will be <br />written to Neal Benjamin, that the City of Centerville recommends <br />that the cities involved look at this for the 1988, but taking <br />into account the cost of an independent audit, the 1987 audit <br />should be conducted as in the past with representatives from each <br />city involved, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The August 17, 1987 letter from the Fire Commission is on file <br />with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie that Mayor L'Allier will <br />appoint two Council members to attend a joint meeting of <br />Centerville, Lino Lakes, Circle Pines, Fire Department and Fire <br />Commission to discuss goals, finances, and level of service when <br />the date is set for such meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />An August 17, 1987 letter from the Fire Commission requesting the <br />information to be discussed a joint meeting is on file with the <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br />Per the request of Mayor L'Allier, Clerk will contact Will Sykes <br />
