<br />City Council Meeting <br />Minutes <br />Page Seven <br />May 27, 1987 <br /> <br />the City of Centerville Comprehensive Plan, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Committee recommendation to charge a <br />$200.00 fee for the use of the ballfields will be put on a future <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Clerk advised that Jerry Jolly picked up a liquor license <br />application, intended use for a ball tournament the last weekend <br />in May. He has not submitted that application. Per Council, <br />Clerk will contact the Lino Lakes Police Department to request <br />they check out the tournament to make sure that no liquor is on <br />the premises. If it is on the premises the Police Department is <br />requested to break up the tournament. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to direct the City Clerk <br />to call Carol Pelton, Park and Recreation Chairperson to advise <br />her that it will be the responsibility of the Park and Recreation <br />Committee to locate and pick up home plates and anchors for the <br />ballfields; the Committee is alotted $200.00 for the purchase; <br />the Committee is to get a quote of a price and notify the City <br />Clerk of the dollar amount, a check will be cut and available the <br />next day, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will ask the City Attorney if the City can obtain a Visa <br />card. <br /> <br />Mediation services will be put on an future agenda that is <br />relatively light. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by L'Allier to appoint Council member <br />Fritchie as the representative for the City of Centerville on the <br />Task Force which will address planning and development problems <br />involving Metropolitan Council, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The first Task Force meeting will be June 17 at Ham Lake City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />Clerk will check fines to see what is coming in as compared to <br />the attorney costs that have increased. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to accept payment of claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of current receipts and <br />disbursements is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to adjourn the meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously_ Meeting adjourned 11:30 p.m. <br />
