<br />Page Three - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 14, 1987 <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Neumann to approve the recommendation <br />of the Park & Recreation Committee in response to the petition <br />received from residents on LaMotte Drive as follows: <br /> <br />- No parking on the western side of LaMotte Drive, <br />- No alcohol allowed on park property except by permit, <br />- Park hours changed to: <br />General hours: 6 am to 10 pm <br />Special use/beer permit hours: 8 am to 10 pm <br />These hours are for set up, activity & cleanup, <br />- Police notified & given copy of special use/beer permit; <br /> <br />and to allow the Park and Recreation Committee to continue <br />to function with two people until they have a full committee <br />again, Laska - aye, L'Allier - aye, Neumann - aye, Fritchie - <br />nay, Robischon - nay, motion carried. <br /> <br />The rink will continue to operate flooding procedures as is. <br />City will check into moving switches for water. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon to accept the resignation <br />letter of Clerk/Treasurer Debra Gonsior, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Neumann to pay current claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of the receipts and <br />disbursements are attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />FINAL COMMENTS: <br />Councilman Robischon was Planning and Zoning Liaison for January. <br />Commented Planning and Zoning Commission is doing a great job, <br />and is working hard on Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />Councilmember Fritchie welcomed the new councilmembers, and <br />also thanked residents for their hard work on petitions and <br />letters received by the Council on the roads. <br /> <br />Wayne LeBlanc, 1677 Peltier Lake Drive questioned the engineers <br />calculations on assessment percentages. Clerk will check <br />with the engineers to clarify. <br /> <br />Dan Tourville, 6994 Centerville Road asked for clarification <br />on how the rink problems would be resolved. Motion by Fritchie, <br />second by Neumann to ask the Park and Recreation Committee look <br />into the rink situation and take action before the next council <br />meeting, motion carried unanimously. Some suggestions were <br />trouble makers forfeit rights to rink, have some adult supervision, <br />and notify the police to drive by more frequently. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Neumann to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously.
