Carol and Joe Pelton - 7178 Mill Road
PIN # 23-31-22-12-0010

There was a sharp increase in the assessed value of many of the homes
in the City of Centerville. Michael Reep, Assessor expressed his
opinion that many of the homes that did experience sharp increases
should have been adjusted as many as 5-10 years ago. He estimated that
95% of the homes are now at assessed value, the remaining 5% may be
under or over assessed value.

Mr. Reep will review the assessments of Melvin Dupre, Mary Jane Lang,
and Tom Daria by returning to their individual homes.

Mr. Reep advised that three items would reduce taxes:
1. Increase in the number of businesses in Centerville.
2. Increase in the number of houses in Centerville. Centerville
would want higher priced new homes as this would have the
greatest impact. He suggests homes in value of $80,000 or
greater.
3. Reduced city spending, which is not always feasible.

No revisions made at this time.

Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to adjourn meeting. Meeting adjourned
at 9:10 P.M.

Ri~:: s;;;~;:t -1?j~

Tamara M. Hiltz-Miller 0-
Cl erk/Treasurer
