<br />Interview with Mr. Mark Karney, Attorney At Law at 61Jo P.M. <br />Mr. Karney presented a brief overview of the experience of his <br />firm, and the background of his partner- Richard Meyers as well <br />as himself. Their resume is on file with the City Clerk. <br />Interview ended at 6150 P.M. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council <br />of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on <br />Wednesday, February 25, 1987, at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier <br />called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Fritchie, <br />Robischon, Laska, Neumann. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Robischon to accept the minutes <br />of the February 11, 1987 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. <br />A letter was received from Mr. & Mrs. Greg Bernier, 1751 <br />Peltier Lake Drive regarding the roads. Letter also received <br />from Mary Jane Lang, 1559 Peltier Lake Drive. Both on file <br />with the City Clerk. <br />Appearance of Peter Buesseler, Centerville's representative <br />to the Rice Creek Watershed District 509 Task Force. <br />Mr. Buesseler gave an overview of the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District's Water Resource Management Plan. A copy is attached <br />to and made a part of these minutes. Mr. Buesseler also <br />presented comments to the plan to be made to the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District by March 1. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to approve the comments <br />made by Mr. Buesseler and have the clerk submit them to the <br />Rice Creek Watershed District, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to approve Mr. <br />Buster LaTuff as chairman of the Centennial Fire District <br />for 1987, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon to approve Tamara <br />Miltz-Miller as the new City Clerk/Treasurer, effective <br />Monday, March 2, 1987, at a rate of $6.50/hour, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Laska to purchase desk at <br />$50.00, chair at $5.00, typewriter at $125.00 all to be <br />delivered at a cost of $10.00 from the Federal Surplus <br />Property Distribution Center, motion carried unanimously. <br />Clerk will contact center for delivery. Clerk will also <br />request they keep a pickup truck on hold until Tuesday <br />for council members to look at and drive. <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie not to participate in <br />the SAC refund program allowing these funds to remain in <br />place for future use. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Laska to put up road restrictions <br />on Monday, March 2, 1987, motion carried unanimously. Clerk <br />will notify Dean Luxenburg to allow him time to haul in <br />his fill. <br />
