<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereo~, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on January 28, 1987, <br />at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at <br />7:00 P.M. Present: Fritchie, Robischon, Laska, Neumann. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Neumann to accept the minutes <br />of the January 14 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Petitions and Complaints: <br />Councilman Neumann mentioned he will be attending the conference <br />for Newly Elected Officials over the weekend. <br /> <br />New Business: <br />Appearance of Dean Campbell, Chief of the Lino Lakes Police <br />Dept. Chief Campbell answered any questions the Council had <br />on the 1987 police contract. Motion by Fritchie, second by <br />Robischon to accept the 1987 police contract with the City of <br />Lino Lakes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />01 d Busine ss: <br />Appearance of Ted Reeck, 7294 Mill Road. Discussion of the <br />difficulty Mr. Reeck had in locating his sewer stub based on <br />the information given on the as builts from Milner Carley & <br />Associates. Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie to send <br />a bill for camera costs, search digs and re-sodding in the <br />amount of $975.00, as well as attorney fees and city admin- <br />istrativel costs related to finding the location of this stub <br />to Milner W. Carley & Associates, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion on seal coating to be done in 1987. The county <br />will not be doing any seal coating this year so the project <br />will need to be bid to private contractors. The City Engineer <br />felt the $40,000.00 the City has set aside would cover the <br />cost of sealcoating all the roads in Centerville not being <br />considered for reconstruction. <br /> <br />The City Engineer will be at the February 11 meeting to discuss <br />the survey results of the roads under consideration for re- <br />construction. At that time he will also be asked to comment <br />on the costs for preparing plans and specs to sealcoat. The <br />council will also be contemplating a decision to go ahead with <br />the seal coating. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Robischon & Fritchie as well as Clerk/Treasurer <br />Gonsior will do the initial screening of applicants for new <br />City Clerk/Treasurer. They will conduct interviews on Feb. 5th <br />at 7:00 P.M. at City Hall. New appointment will be on the <br />Feb. 11th agenda. <br /> <br />Discussion on new City Attorney was tabeled until the Feb. 11 <br />meeting. <br />
