Page Two - City Council Meeting Minutes - January 28, 1987 New Business: Appearance of Norm Fritchie, Centervilles Centennial Fire Commission Representative. Mr. Fritchie informed the council the budget for the Centennial Fire District in 1987 would be less than anticipated due to station #2 not being in operation until 1988. Originally Centervilles portion of the total budget for 1987 was $16,700.00. Centerville approved $16,000.00 and now the amount has been reduced to $15,J46.70. He also let the council know there was a $4,900.00 balance left in the C.F.D. budget for 1986. Mr. Fritchie also made the suggestion to overlap terms of Fire Commissioner for continuity in Cent- ervilles representation. The council decided to appoint 1 & 2 year terms at the beginning of 1988. Carol Pelton will be at the February 11 meeting with recommend- ations for Park & Recreation committee members. Steve Dixon, 1769 Center St. did not show to discuss the filling of the drainage ditch behind his home. Clerk will check with the City Attorney on the filling of the drainage ditch. Discussion on fill permit for Luxenburg property on Peltier Lake Drive. Clerk will check with City Attorney and City Engineer to see if permit is needed & if so the amount of the bond or letter of credit needed. Mr. Luxenburg will contact the DNR and the Rice Creek Water District for any needed permits from them. Mr. Luxenburg will be at the Feb. 11 meeting with the needed information. Discussion on sewer hookup of Houle property at 7140 20th Ave. No. Mr. Houle is having problems with his drainfield, is in the sewered area, but has no stub to his property. Motion by Neumann, second by Laska to send the Houles a letter allowing them to hook up to sewer & recommending ~hey hire a contractor to do the stub and hookup at the same time, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Robischon, second by " Fritchie to approve St. Genevieves 3.2 beer permit for their annual picnic on August 16, 1987, motion carried unanimously. Board of Review will be held April 2, 1987 at 7:00 P.M. at' City Hall. Clerk will confirm time with County. Motion by Laska, second by Robischon to contribute $50.00 to the Minnesota Olympic Facility Study Team, aye - Robischon, Laska, L'Allier, Neumann, nay - Fritchie, motion carried. Clerk will check with the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce to be sure the new council members are on their mailing list. Clerk will check into the cost of re-keying the 2121 locks in th e City.
