Centervi{{eJ M:A.[ 55038 <br />(651) 429-3232 . ~alL (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 99-18 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR ABATEMENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS <br />(PARKVIEW ADDITION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City ofCenterville authorized the Parkview Addition <br />Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, property/development petitioned for the stated improvement be financed in <br />accordance with Minnesota Status 429; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville gave proper notification of such; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, $615,000 was assessed to benefitted properties based upon square foot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, $12,389.99 was placed on property legally identified as 23-31-22-31-0070; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the stated property owner known as Rick Carlson (Parkview ofCenterville, <br />Inc.) paid to the City ofCenterville $12,389.99; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County Property Tax Division has acknowledged and certified <br />$2,025.70 to 1999 property tax. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the stated property owner known as Rick Carlson (Parkview ofCenterville, <br />Inc.) has paid to Anoka County $1,012.85 of the 1999 certified amount; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has reimbursed stated property owner known as Rick <br />Carlson (parkview ofCenterville) $1,012.85 and should be refunded same by Anoka County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has directed the Deputy Clerk/Treasurer to make a request of <br />Anoka County to abate Parkview Addition assessment improvements from the property legally <br />known as 23-31-22-31-0070 (1999-2008). <br />
