<br />120 <br /> <br />Lino Lakes Patrolman brought in January Police reports <br />for Lino and Centerville and yearly report on both cities. <br /> <br />Mayor read portions of letter from the Magic Globe <br />Players from Bismarck, North Dakota concerning a bi- <br />centennial program they put on for children. Clerk was <br />to give it to the bi-centennial committee at Centerville <br />Elementary School. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council St. Paul Water Works had made <br />application for permit to pump eight thousand million gallons <br />of water out of Centerville Lake in the year 1976. <br /> <br />Emergency Services Bylaws were discussed and tabled <br />until next meeting awaiting a clarification on workmen"s <br />compensation from our insurance agent. <br /> <br />Mayor read letter from City of Bloomington requesting <br />our city to pass a resolution requesting the State Legislature <br />to put any stadium proposal to a vote of our people. Elmer <br />Murray made a motion to support this resolution and send it <br />to our legislators involved, John Peterson seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />The first half of the Lino Lakes-Centerville Fire <br />Contract was received by the clerk in the amount of $2,489.16. <br />Council approved placing the money in the Centerville Fire <br />Department Equipment Fund Savings Account. <br /> <br />Dan Tourville presented the council with some bills <br />from the Fire Department and asked how the council would <br />like to have the requisition forms used. The consensus <br />of the council was for Dan to use his own judgement on <br />Fire Department expenditures and anything over $25 would <br />require a requisition form brought to the council meeting. <br /> <br />The Fire Truck committee made a presentation on the <br />purchase of a new fire truck. Norm Fritchie outlined the <br />various trucks available with the following informations <br /> <br />General Safety - North Branch - Ford C 750 Tilt Cab, <br />534 engine, 5 speed transmission, 750 gallons water carrier, <br />pump 1000 gallons per minute - approximately $42,500. <br />Down payment of $9000 and finance rema~nder on 5-year basis <br />with deli~ery date of August 1977. <br /> <br />General Safety - North Branch - similar truck with 389 <br />engine, 5 speed transmission, 750 gallo'n water carrier, <br />pump 1000 gallons per minute - also Ford truck - approx- <br />imately $40,000 , down payment of $9000 and finance over <br />5 year periOd with delivery~-in August tl", 1977. <br /> <br />John Bean Company - Ford truck with 750 gallon water~carrier, <br />750 gallons per minute plus additional pump for high <br />intensity fog amounting to $44,999, approximately $9000 <br />down, 5 year financing with delivery in July, 1976. <br />
