<br />The City Council of the City of Centerville was called to order <br />at 7:00 pm at the City Hall by Mayor Prachar. Present: Burque, <br />L'Allier, Murray,Peterson and Attorney Hawkins. <br /> <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept minutes of meetings held <br />November 10, 17 and 24, 1976, John Peterson seconded it, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Floyd Kruger reported on the District Memorial Hospital in Forest <br />Lake. He handed out a fiscal report and financial statement on <br />the hospital. <br /> <br />The plans and specs for Center Oaks were discussed. The Planning <br />and Zoning had approved recommendations made by Carley and Associates <br />on Center Oaks and the council reviewed them. All recommendations <br />were approved by the Council with exception of No.6 concerning <br />the existing ditch adjoining the property. That matter would be <br />discussed further with both Carley Engineering and Houstnn Engineering. <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion on item No.4 to maintain a radius of <br />50' on the cul-de-sacs, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br />Clerk was to advise Houston Engineering of Council action. <br /> <br />The following applications of C B B Holding, Inc., were read: <br />On-Sale Liquor, Off-Sale Liquor, Off-Sale Non-Intoxicating Liquor, <br />Sunday LTquor, Dance permit and Cigarette license. Leon L'Allier <br />made a motion to approve applications, Fran Burque seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Fran Burque made a motion to retain M.A.P.S.I. as the city's <br />dog catcher for 1977, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Insurance review report made by William Peet was discussed. Clerk <br />was to forward his recommendations to Bruce Houle for his information <br />in submitting bid for the city's insurance package. <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to pay Milner W. Carley & Associates <br />$39,625.26 which is the engineering fee on the Sanitary Sewer <br />Improvement #1 through November 18, 1976, Fran Burque seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to pay C. W. Houle Landscaping $40,068.16 <br />which is Partial Estimate #1 on the Sanitary Sewer Improvement #1, <br />John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. (The bill read - <br />$44,520.18 minus 10% withheld $4,452.02 leaving 'a balance of <br />$40,068.16.) <br /> <br />Mayor informed council of meeting on Tuesday, December 14, at 7:30 pm <br />with representatives of the Metro Council to discuss Centerville's <br />Systems Statement. Planning and Zoning members are also to attend. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to grant a variance to Ordinance #15, <br />Section 6, paragraph 10 on the fol~owing piece of property: <br />TractB: That part of the North half of the Southwest <br />quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, Township 31 North, <br />Range 22 west, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br />
