<br />-. - 1 <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />ORDINANCE #25 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING MOBILE HOME PARKS AND <br />PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br />DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />For the purpose of this ordinance:,. the terms defined in this <br />ordinance shall have the meanings given them in this Section. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />a. Mobile Home <br /> <br />A mobile home is a dwelling capable of being transported by the <br />provision of wheels or on a flat bed truck and contains 200 square <br />feet or more of living space with utility installations, wiring <br />and plumbing in conformance with local codes. <br /> <br />b. Mobile Home Park <br /> <br />A mobile home park shall be any premises which has facilities <br />to accommodate one or more occupied mobile homes. <br /> <br />c. Unit <br /> <br />Unit means a section of ground in a mobile home park of not less <br />than 7500 square feet of unoccupied space in an area designated <br />as the location for one mobile home, off-street parking space for <br />two automobiles and other uses considered pertinent to the <br />establishment and use of a mobile home residence as permitted by <br />this ordinance. <br /> <br />d. Person <br /> <br />Person shall be construed to include persons, partnerships, firm, <br />company, corporation, tenant, owner, lessee, their agents, heirs <br />and assigns. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br />MOBILE HOME LOCATION <br /> <br />a. Mobile homes shall not be parked an any public street or <br />on any tract of land, except as provided herein. <br /> <br />b. Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted on any <br />public street for not longer than three (3) hours subject to any <br />other and further prohibitions, regulations or limitations imposed <br />by the traffic and parking regulations or ordinances for that <br />public street. <br /> <br />c. No landowner or lessee shall allow mobile homes to be parked or <br />occupied on their property which is situated outside of an approved <br />mobile home park; except that the parking of only one travel trailer <br />of less than 200 square feet in floor area, is permitted providing <br />no li~ing quarters shall be maintained or businesses practiced in <br />said travel trailer while said travel trailer is so parked or stored. <br />
