Elmer Murray made a motion to <br />accept resolution, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to issue a 3.2 beer permit to Bill Rivard <br />for Saturday, August 14, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm to hold a softball tourn- <br />ament at the ballfield on Main Street off of LaValle Drive. Motion <br />also calls for sufficient policing of the area, cleaning up grounds <br />after closing of tournament and parking handled adequately by team <br />members, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council of request made August 11, 1976 by city to <br />post revenue sharing reports for ]0 days in a public place instead <br />of publishing them in legal paper. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council Minnesota PCA had applied through the United <br />States Environmental Protection Agency for a permit for a municipal <br />wastewater collection system discharge on Centerville Lake in Center- <br />ville for one year. <br /> <br />Walt Williams from Carley and Associates was in attendance and <br />discussion was held on General Assessment policy. Some changes <br />were made and matter was tabled until next meeting until attorney <br />could comment on same. <br /> <br />The clerk read the following bills to be paid by check #2681-2700. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to pay bills, Leon L'Allier seconded it, <br />motion carried. Deposits of $15,155.8~ were made during month leaving <br />a balance in the checking account of $13,875.87. <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to pay clerk an hourly rate of $5.00 on <br />sewer project work, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adjourn meeting, Leon L'Allier seconded <br />it, motion carried.
