<br />1 t~5 <br /> <br />A special meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Centerville was held on Monday, June 7, 1976 in the City Hall. <br />Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 8:05 pm. In <br />attendance were Councilmen Burque, Murray and Peterson, L'Allier <br />absent. Also in attendance were Mayor Bill Bohjanen, Clerk Sarner, <br />John McLean and Bob Schneider of the City Council of the City of <br />Lino Lakes. Private resident of Lino Steve Sprint was also in <br />attendance. <br /> <br />Meeting was called to discuss the Petition as attached, <br />"We, the residents of LaMotte Drive, Lino Lakes Township, <br />Minnesota, do hereby petition to be serviced by any proposed <br />sewer interceptor to be designed and/or built in the City of <br />Centerville, Minnesota." Ten signatures are on the petition. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept petition as proposed from <br />the City of Lino Lakes LaMotte Drive residents, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried. Consensus was for Lino Lakes to <br />hold a hearing on the above and if and when the LaMotte Drive <br />residents are included in Centerville interceptor, Lino Lakes <br />would collect the monies due on the assessment and in turn <br />send it to Centerville City. <br /> <br />Discussion was also held on the policing of the Anoka <br />County Park facility. It was agreed to send a letter or <br />Resolution'from both cities to Commissioner Burman, Sheriff <br />Talbot of Anoka County and Torkildson of the Park Department <br />requesting Park Police to patrol the park area. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:30 pm. <br /> <br />R~SP/~Y submitted, <br /> <br />~L/~~ <br /> <br />Lu ~rachar, Clerk-Treasurer <br />
