IE!) The regular monthly meeting of the City Council of the City of Centerville was held on Wednesday. June 9, 1976 at the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present were Burque, Murray and Peterson. Absent; L'Allier. Mr. Bill Hawkins, Attorney, was also in attendance. Fran Burque made a motion to accept minutes of meetings held May 12, 20, and 26, 1976, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Ivan Barott had asked Mr. Murray about ideas on solving his parking problem in front of his home and apartment building in the winter months. Con- sensus was to have Mr. Barott come to a council meeting with his problem for discussion. Mr. R. Donald Kelly was in attendance complaining about the 8 x 12 trailer parked on the adjoining lot to his property. Mr. Mobley, Building Inspector, was to talk to party and request her to come to a council meeting for advisement on our ordinance dealing with trailer parking. Mr. Ed LaBossiere was in attendance to discuss his May claim form for maintenance work done in the City. Clerk had received request from Northern States Power to lay an underground cable on Mill Road to service the Hentges property which is under construction. Elmer Murray made a motion to give Mayor permission to talk to our Engineer about this and report back at next meeting, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. Discussion on mobile home ordinance was taken up. It was decided to hold a public hearing on same ordinance at the July 14th meeting. Clerk would publish hearing notice 10 days before the 14th. Mr. Mobley, Building Inspector, discussed certificate of occupancy for Hentges and would take care of Luger letter concerning prints for a proposed house on Peltier Lake Drive and would report to council. Mayor read 2 communications from Northern States Power concerning a rate increase in street lighting and codes to follow when installing a swimming or wading pool in Centerville. Discussion on held on proposed service road behind homes on the now Mound Trail. Mayor reported on Commissioner's meeting he had attendad where the subject came up. Clerk read checks #2611 - #2642 to be paid. Elmer Murray made a motion to pay bills, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. Deposits of $486.05 were noted leaving a balance of $438.22.
