<br />l~r; <br />_ I: J f <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, May 12, 1976 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar <br />called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present were Burque, Murray, <br />Peterson and L'Allier. Attorney Hawkins was also in attendance. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to accept minutes from meetings <br />held April 14, 21, 28 and May 4, 1976, Fran Burque seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk read the attached Resolution 6-76 opposing the proposed <br />electric transmission line. John Peterson made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Revenue Sharing Check in the amount of $691. has been received <br />by the Clerk. She was instructed to deposit the check in the form <br />of a savings certificate at the First State Bank of Hugo for a )0- <br />month term at 6t% interest. <br /> <br />Clerk reported on the Handcrafts by Handicapped of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Clerk read quote from Johnson Dustcoating on oiling the streets <br />in Centerville.. Matter was tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />Mrs. Louis LeRoux appeared before council with request for <br />a variance on Tract A, Band C (legal description below) in order <br />to give these tract owners access to a proposed service road which <br />would be behind their homes. The Legal Descriptions on these <br />tracts are as follows: <br /> <br />Tract A: That certain part of Lot 14 in Auditor's Subdivision <br />No. 46 Revised, and being a part of Government Lot 5 in Section 15, <br />Township 31, Range 22, described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at <br />the Northwest corner of said Lot 14; thence North 89 degrees, 10 <br />minutes, 08 Seconds east along the North line thereof for 112 feet; <br />thence South.O _deg~ees, 26 mihutes, 43 seconds East parallel with <br />the west line of Lot 14 for 715 feet to the actual point of beginning <br />of the tract hereby described; thence South 89 degrees, 10 minutes, <br />08 seconds west for 112 feet to the west line of said Lot 14 and to <br />the southerly line of the County of Anoka (Park); thence North 62 <br />degrees, 02 minutes', 45 seconds east along said Park' line for <br />126.28 feet; thence South 0 degrees, 26 minutes, 43 seconds east for <br />57.57 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />Tract B: That certain part of Lot 14 in Auditor's Subdivision <br />No. 46 Revised, and being a part of Government Lot 5 in Section 15, <br />Township 31., Range 22, . described as follows, to-wit:.
