Hugo, Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />6 - 76 <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has been requested <br /> <br />to comment on a proposed Electric Transmission line con- <br /> <br />struction corridor that involves city property, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed construction would greatly <br />reduce the value of the city's property intended use <br /> <br />namely a park and recreational area, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville and surrounding <br /> <br />communities have responded to previous requests for areas <br /> <br />to be used for the common good and have contributed a <br /> <br />disproportionate share for parks, transmission lines, <br /> <br />freeways, water reservoirs, etc., <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, the City of <br /> <br />Centerville wishes to go on record as being opposed to <br />the corridor within the city's boundary. and recommends <br /> <br />that the corridor located in Washington County be used <br /> <br />for construction. <br /> <br />ATTEST:'\ <br />c ...- <br /> <br />,.::>..'
