<br />-1 ~ r-"- <br />1. L}~) <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held a special <br />meeting on Wednesday, April 28, 1976. Present were Councilmen <br />Burque, Peterson and Murray. Absent: L'Allier. Mayor Prachar <br />called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> <br />Mr. Walter Kuchinski appeared before council with request <br />for a building permit to put up a garage on the east side of his <br />home at 1724 Heritage Street. The problem was that the garage <br />would be 24 x 26 and would be situated only one (1) foot away <br />from the property line. He was told to get a notarized letter <br />from his adjoining property owner stating that he (the property <br />owner at 1740 Heritage) was aware Mr. Kuchinski was putting up <br />a garage on 1724 Heritage and that the edge of garage would be <br />only one (1) foot away from the property line. Elmer Murray <br />made a motion to ~I~~XM~1XKH~~I*~XIXKXi~IK~~~ grant a variance <br />to Walter Kuchinski on city's ordinance #10, paragraph 2, Section <br />F-Side Yard Requirements, subject to adjoining property owner's <br />acceptance of the situation, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar advised council the city could purchase plat <br />and t section maps from the Anoka County Surveyor's office. Clerk <br />was to order same. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar referred to a Centerville Emergency Plan sub- <br />mitted by the Emergency Services. Clerk was to make copies and <br />send out with the minutes and the matter would be taken up at <br />the May 12th meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar reported on meeting held on Monday, April <br />26th between the Planning and Zoning and Sewer Committees. Their <br />recommendation on the 355 acreage map of sewering Centerville was <br />as follows: <br />1. Go down Centerville Road to pick up the duplexes, <br />150' depth on either side or west 56 rods from the S.W. corner of <br />Centerville Road. <br /> <br />2. A portion in the N.E. quarter was added - on a <br />piece of ground bordered on the south by Main Street and the west <br />by l\1ill Road. <br /> <br />No other substantial recommendations were made by the council. <br />Meeting was to be held on Thursday, April 29th, at 9:00 AM between <br />council representatives, Mr. Burandt, our engineers and other <br />interested parties. Fran Burque made a motion that the council <br />accept the P & Z and Sewer Committee recommendations on the above, <br />Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Communications were read concerning: A letter from the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District on the proposed single family residence <br />permit application made by Robert Knabe and letter from the <br />Handcrafts by Handicapped of Minnesota requesting requirements <br />for house to house solicitation in Centerville. Clerk was to look <br />into this matter and report at next meeting. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adjourn meeting, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried.
