<br />. l..., <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO FIRE TRUCK BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a set of specifications was prepared for a Class "A" <br />pumper fire truck, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, appropriate legal advertisement for bids was made, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bids received from four manufacturers were opened <br />on April 14, 1976, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the option in the specification of a High Pressure Fog <br />System has been determined to be in the best interest of the City Of <br />Centerville, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the major signifioant -items were determined in the <br />evaluation of the bids to be a combination of minimum delivery time <br />and the lowest total cost, <br /> <br />NO,^l THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the bid with the shortest <br />delivery time of 30 days be accepted from Hid-Central Fire & Safety <br />Company in the amount of $40,900 ror that rinm's alternate bid of a <br />new stock unit 8-9637, and <br /> <br />FURTHE~10RE BE IT RESOLVED THAT should the selected bidder rail <br />to perform, a revised set of specifications is to be prepared. <br /> <br />V <br />I <br />t <br /> <br />~), . <br />Council Member~~~/~~. moved t,he above resolution which was <br />seconied by Council Me ber _---!;~. <br /> <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />Upon a vote being taken on the ab~ve resolution, t,hose counci 1 <br />members voting in favor were: a..d./ ~ ~<-r::~--L-/ <br /> <br />Those counoil members voting agai~ the above resolution were:~~ <br /> <br />Whereupon the above resolution was declared passed. <br />
