<br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their <br />regular meeting on Wednesday, October ~, 1975 in the City Hall/ <br />Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present <br />were Burque, L'Allier, Murray and Peterson. <br /> <br />Minutes of meetings held September 10 and 24, 1975 were <br />approved as recorded by Elmer Murray, seconded by John Peterson, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Mr. Underwood had complained <br />to Mayor about a resident burning trash near his house and <br />the smoke bothering him.r'and his wife. Mr. Underwood was <br />advised to speak to the resident and if he does not get any- <br />where, to come to council meeting with complaint. <br /> <br />Mayor read portions of letter from LeRoy Johnson, 5th <br />District County Commissioner concerning bicycle traffic in <br />Centerville and other communities in Anoka County. A meeting <br />has been set for Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30 pm to discuss <br />bicycle trails for the County and Mr. Johnson would like a <br />representative from Centerville to attend meeting. Clerk was <br />to ask Marian Sundberg and Phyllis Peterson to attend meeting <br />and represent Centerville. <br /> <br />Mayor was to write Mr. Gerald Clausen of the Lino Lakes <br />Park Commission giving him the council's comments and sugges- <br />tions on the propo,sed bike trail system for Lino Lakes and <br />portions of Centervil1e. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read portions of letter from Dave Torkildson <br />of the Park Department in Anoka County concerning the con- <br />struction or possible construction of a road from Centerville <br />adjacent to park property. This item would be discussed at <br />the next Park Committee meeting in October and Mr. Torki1dson <br />will be in contact with us after meeting to advise us of <br />the committee's intent. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read portions of letter from Dave Torki1dson <br />concerning the Centerville Fire Department request to provide <br />fire protection for the Chain of Lakes Park.
