<br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held a special <br />meeting on Wednesday, June 25, 1975 in the City Hall. Mayor <br />Prachar called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present were <br />Burque, L'Allier, Murray and Peterson. <br /> <br />Clerk informed council she was going to pay the following <br />billSt H & L Remodelers $195 and Johnson Dustcoating $1125. less <br />2% discount amounting to $1102.50. . <br /> <br />Clerk had received application from Northwestern Bell Tele- <br />phone to bury cable on Farm Drive, located south of County Road <br />#14 and 1150 feet west of 35E. Application approved. <br /> <br />Applicants would be screened through the county for part <br />time help for city amounting to 32 hr week at $2.10 per hour. <br /> <br />The $788 due the City from the county on the Federal program <br />would be handled through the highway department and we were to <br />hear from Mr. Ruud on how we wanted the work done and when it <br />was going to be done. <br /> <br />Clerk had received letter from Metro Council informing us <br />our population figure as of April 1975 was 620. <br /> <br />Clerk had received letter from B & E Patrol informing us <br />they were going aut of business and the business had been sold <br />to Metro Animal Control of Minneapolis and we would be receiving <br />more information after July 1. <br /> <br />We have received notification from the DNR on the public <br />hearing to be held on July 16, 1975 at 12.30 pm in the St. Paul <br />Technical Vocational Institute on the proposed adoption of rules <br />of the commissioner of Natural Resources governing municipal <br />shoreland zoning ordinances. <br /> <br />Fnank Everhard appeared before council with request for <br />a few 85' lots interdispersed with his 100 x 150 foot lots <br />in Phase One of Center Oaks.
