<br />4~.~ <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held a special <br />meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 1975 in the City Hall. Mayor <br />Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were <br />Burque, L'Allier, Murray and Peterson. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read letter from Frank Everhard asking for <br />final plat approval for 48 lots of Center Oaks. Discussion <br />followed and no decision reached. <br /> <br />Revenue sharing check that was deposited in First State <br />Bank of Hugo on April 10 was for a 12 month period at 6 3/4% <br />instead of 7 3./4%. <br /> <br />Clerk had received check for 1st half of fire contract <br />money due in the amount of $2317.28. Clerk was to deposit it <br />in general fund. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read letter from Carl Nelson, Centennial <br />Hockey Assn representative thanking Centerville for use of <br />the hockey rink during the hockey season and our cooperation <br />in keeping it playable. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council of Mr. Skoog's intention of <br />starting an active Civil Defense auxiliary. He also requested <br />permission to enter into a mutual aid agreement with Lino Lakes <br />for use of their civil defense equipment if the city needed <br />help in time of disaster. Elmer Murray made a motion to <br />approve application of mutual aid agreement with Lino, John <br />Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Skoog also asked council approval on asking Anoka <br />County, North Hennepin and Ramsey County to monitor their <br />police calls from his car in time of emergency. John Peterson <br />made a motion to grant approval to Mr. Skoog for carrying monitor <br />in his car if acceptable with the 3 above counties, Fran Burque <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor read portion of letter from Mr. Hawkins replying to <br />our question as to who governs the bodies of water in Centerville. <br />Reply was that DNR regulates operation of water craft, state <br />regulates the taking of fish and wildlife and municipalities <br />regulate harbors and docks entirely within their boundaries. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on sewage problem between L'Allier <br />and Clagget houses on Mill Road. Clerk was to write letter to <br />Mr. Clagget advising him of situation and ordinance regulations. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adjourn meeting, Leon L'Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried.
