<br />Li < .""\ <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular" <br />meeting on Wednesday, April 9, 1975 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar <br />called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were Burque, L'Allier <br />Peterson, Murray and clerk. The clerk read minutes of meetings held <br />March 12 and 27, 1975 and April 2, 1975. Fran Burque made a motion <br />to accept minutes as read, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Petitions and Complaints: Complaints on speed limit on <br />Main Street from Centerville Road to 20th. Suggestion was to <br />have residents petition for lower speed limit and bring such <br />petition to council. Also request for painting curbs yellow on <br />corners and asking county if they have signs "No Parking From <br />Here to Corner" for city use where needed. <br /> <br />Mayor reported on StevensM bid for concrete slab in front of <br />fire doors. Matter was turned over to Building Committee for dis- <br />cusssion and recommendation. <br /> <br />Mayor referred to letter from Minnesota Pollution Con~rol <br />Agency advising us that our permit request of October 17, 1974 <br />was hereby acknowledged and based on the information provided <br />in application, MPCA determined that a permit was not required. <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to amend Ordinance 13 as follows, <br />Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #13 <br />Section 9. Hours of Sale - Subdivision 2. <br />Every licensee, except a private club licensee shall not conduct <br />business on the premises between the hours of one o'clock (1:00) <br />A.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. Monday through Saturday inclusive, <br />or on any Sunday between the hours of one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and <br />twelve o'clock (12:00) noon, nor permit the presence of customers <br />on the premises between the hours of one thirty o'clock (1:)0) A.M. <br />and eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. Monday through Saturday inclusive or <br />on any Sunday between the hours of one thirty o'clock (1:30) A.M. <br />and twelve o'clock (12:00) nonn, however, further provided that no <br />intoxicating liquor may be sold or served on Sunday, whether <br />directly or indirectly, except between the hours of twelve o~clock <br />(12:00) noon and twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight, and then only <br />in conjunction with the serving of food to persons who are seated <br />at tables within the licensed premises. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to amend Subdivision 2, of Ordinance <br />#13 to read as follows: <br />Ordinance #13 <br />Subdivision 2. On-Sale Licenses. On-Sale Licenses shall be issued <br />only to hotels, clubs, and exclusive liquor stores and shall permit <br />"On-Sales" of liquor only. Number of licenses granted at~-,any one <br />time shall be authorized by law. <br />John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to strike out Subdivision 11, Or- <br />dinance 13 if attorney advises it's legal to do so, Leon L'Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br />
