<br />44 <br /> <br />Mr. Paul Ruud and Commissioner Bob Burman made an appearance <br />before council with plans and description of bridge going over <br />County road #14 north of the existing bridge in Lino Lakes. <br />County road #14 will be closed for approximately one month when <br />construction takes place. <br /> <br />Lino Lakes patrolman brought in Centerville and Lino Lakes <br />police report for March. <br /> <br />Lino Lakes position paper on the Metro Council was brought <br />up for discussion. EilimerMurray made a motion to table decision <br />on paper until after Saturday, April 12th meeting, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor referred to letter from John Milton advising he has <br />prepared an amendment to the Anoka County parks law, providing <br />for the same requirement of local government approval as in the <br />law related to Ramsey County. <br /> <br />Mayor reminded council of a seminar of the Minnesota Housing <br />Finance Agency on home improvment programs to be held on Monday, <br />April 14, from 2:00 - 4:00 at the Metro Council chambers. <br /> <br />Mayor read a letter from R. & O. Sales asking for an extension <br />of time on recording the final plat known as Center Oaks. Leon <br />L'Allier made a motion to grant a 90 day extension for submission <br />of final plat of Center Gaks for approval, Fran Burque seconded <br />it, motion carried. Clerk was to write letter to R & 0 Sales <br />advising of council decision. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council of Mini-convention for small cities <br />on Thursday, June 12, 1975 at St. Paul Hotel sponsored by League <br />of Minnesota Municipalities. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council of public hearing on the uniform fire <br />code to be held on April 29 at 9:00 am at Howard Johnson's Motel <br />in Bloomington. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council that agreement had been signed between <br />City of Centerville and Marcel Rivard regarding rights of egress <br />and ingress to property used as community playground with City of <br />Centerville assuming all responsibility for liability. <br /> <br />Mayor read proclamation by Governor Anderson with regard to <br />Arbor Day and Arbor month which is April 25 to May 25. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council that Centerville has to have a <br />municipal shoreland ordinance in effect by July 1 of this year. <br />The DNR has now a model ordinance and we are to receive a copy of <br />this within the next few days. There are going to be informational <br />meetings on this subject and our regional meeting would be held on <br />May 5 at the St. Paul Vocational Technical Institute Auditorium" <br />1:30 pm - local officials and 7:)0 pm - general public. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council of hearing on Thursday, April 17 at <br />7:00 pm at Lakewood Community College in the matter of the appli- <br />cation by Minnesota Power and Light for Corridor Designation for <br />a High Voltage Transmission Line and Associated Facilities. <br />
