<br />30 <br /> <br />Insurance package for 1975 was presented. Workmen's <br />compensation policy premium was $885.00 and multi-peril <br />audit was $39.00 making a total of $924.00. Fran Burque made <br />a motion to accept the insurance carrier of last year and <br />pay bill, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Replacement for Mr. Williams on the Forest Lake Hospital <br />Board was discussed. Several names were submitted and Mayor <br />Prachar would report at next meeting. <br /> <br />Attorney Hawkins reported on his contact with Mr. Richard <br />Sandstrom of the PCA who said that city permit application forms <br />for burning were available from him and clerk was to contact <br />Tree Inspector to take care of same. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council of hearing set for March 10 for <br />the adoption of effluent limitations for dischargers of waste <br />water to the metropolitan segment of the Mississippi River based <br />on a waste load allocation study. Hearing was to be held in the <br />PCA offices in Roseville at 9:00 am. <br /> <br />Council okayed 1975 engi'neering contract wi th Carley and <br />Associates. <br /> <br />Mayor read portions of letter and rate sheet from NSP <br />concerning their new rate system for municipal street lighting, <br />etc. <br /> <br />Mayor read letter from Anoka County informing us of gopher <br />bounty reimbursement from county. County would reimburse us l5~ <br />on 30~ pocket gopher bounty. Fran Burque made a motion to pay <br />the 30~ bounty on pocket gophers, John Peterson seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council of hearing on March 10 in the Metro <br />Council chambers on regulations for determining Matters of Metro- <br />politan significance. Mayor had read portions of the regulations <br />and advised council he was writing Metro Council a letter voicing <br />his obje~tions and sending copies to Sen. Milton and Rep. Neisen. <br /> <br />Mayor asked if council has received copy of letter from Burman <br />explaining the Emerge'ncy Job Program. Centerville would be eligible <br />for $568.00 and would be contacted shortly to discuss creation of <br />positions, reimbursement and related matters. <br /> <br />We have received a permit application from the St. Paul Water <br />Department to pump water from Centerville Lake. The permit was <br />applied through Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The <br />DNR has asked the city for their comments on whether application <br />should be granted to the water department. p~ LL! ~ "iiIIIItC'~~d: I <br />l~~l ~l!l_t .. every effort should be made to maintain a more stable <br />level of lake water. <br /> <br />Mayor read letter he had written to John Boland on status <br />of sewer. Discussion followed. <br /> <br />Association of Metro Municipalities has asked us to join <br />their association at a rate of $100 a year. Council said no. <br />
