<br />( <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held a meeting on <br />Wednesday, October 26, 1977 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar <br />called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present were: Burque. <br />L'Allier, Murray and Peterson. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to accept minutes of meeting held <br />September 28, 1977, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. Palmer of 6904 Centervi1le Road were in attendance <br />inquiring about the Center Oaks Project and on the road easement <br />in front of their house. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wi1hemny appeared before council inquiring about the validity <br />of Ordinance #29. She was advised about the contents of the <br />ordinance and when it had gone into effect. <br /> <br />Larry Cook of Circle Pines appeared before council with questions <br />on the Claggett property on Peltier Lake Drive. <br /> <br />Bids were read by the clerk for the ~eti ~lthe' n1-t station <br />located near Peltier Lake Drivel C. W. Houle Landscaping - $2500., <br />Halvorson Construction $2935., Sigfred Construction $4180., <br />Boda Construction $2116., and Hank Spores $1200. John Peterson <br />made a motion to accept Hank Spores' bid of $1200, Elmer Murray <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Gene Mobley was in attendance requesting the <br />Council to adopt the Uniform Building Code totally including all <br />appendix , to include a disclosure act in the building ordinance <br />and adopt a mining ordinance. Matter was tabled for the time <br />being until clerk could get some sample copies of ordinances <br />on the mining and disclosure act and the council could go over <br />the matter further. <br /> <br />The Joint Recreational Agreement and Lease Agreement were submitted <br />for signature and adoption on the Centerville Tennis Court <br />recreational facility. Leon L'A1lier made a motion to enter <br />into the two above agreements with the Centennial School District <br />#12, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. Clerk will submit <br />forms to school district for signature. <br /> <br />Mayor informed the council Jim Stevens had submitted the low bid <br />on the warming house project and had been awarded the job. <br /> <br />The League of Minnesota Cities has sent the City information on <br />the Federal Surplus Personal Property Utilization Program whereby <br />municipalities can purchase surplus property for a small cost. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to enter into the Federal Surplus <br />Property program, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to adjourn meeting, Elmer Murray <br />seconded it, motion carried.
