<br />~ <br />( <br /> <br />City Council meeting <br />September 14, 1977 <br />page two <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, <br />October 12, 1977 at 10:00 pm on proposed Ordinance #29, Leon <br />L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Leon L'Al1ier made a motion to authorize the clerk to make first <br />interest payment on the sanitary sewer bonds, being $36,121.87 <br />interest and $26.10 service charge totaling $36.147.97 payable to <br />the Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis, Elmer Murray <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Budget meeting is set up for Monday, September 19th at ~:OO pm <br />in the City Hall. <br /> <br />Clerk read request from L & B Tree Service for a 90 day extension <br />on their special use permit. This permit is for the housing of <br />a 12 x 55 trailer on the property while construction of a main- <br />tenance building is going on. Leon L'Allier made a motion to <br />grant L & B Tree Service a 60 day extension on the permit expiring <br />November 14, 1977, contingent on the Building Inspector's approval, <br />Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor read communications from Centennial Schools ~oncerning <br />the Community Service Certificate of Compliance prior to making <br />a Community Service Levy which will be discussed at a meeting on <br />Tuesday, September 27 at the Senior High and Elmer Murray will <br />be the Centerville representative; letter requesting funds for <br />the Summer Recreation Program of 1978. This matter will be <br />discussed at the budget meeting; notice from the Metropolitan <br />Council advising us of a public hearing to be held at a later <br />date on the City of Lino Lakes Systems Statement which the city <br />of Lino Lakes is objecting to and therefore making an appeal. <br /> <br />Resolution #8-77. A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE DEFERMENT OF <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR PERSONS 65 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER FOR WHOM <br />IT WOULD BE A HARDSHIP TO MAKE THE PAYMENTS was introduced. John <br />Peterson made a motion to adopt Resolution #8-77. Fran Burque <br />seconded it and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Peterson. Burque. L'Allier, Murray <br />and Prachar; and the following voted against the same. none. <br />A copy of above Resolution is attached to ~hese minutes. <br />The following deferments were submitted for approval. <br />PLAT 28019, PARCEL 0905 - PAUL J. HOULE in the amount of $309.96 <br />PLAT 28019, PARCEL 1620 - TIMOTHY MANNING in the amount of $468.72 <br />PLAT 27853. PARCEL 0900 - DELINA M. LA LONDE in the amount of <br />$~1)( ~ 89 -# //r-7 ~ );_~ <br />PLAT 28019, PARCEL 0710 - ARMOND ABRESCH in the amount of $435.30. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to defer the above assessments. Elmer <br />Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Clerk read Resolution #9-77 requesting Anoka County Highway <br />Department to plow snow on the City streets for the winter of <br />1977-78.
