<br />~ <br />/ <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, July 13. 1977 in the City Hall. Mayor <br />Prachar called the meetingto order at 8.00 pm. Present were. <br />Burque, Murray. Peterson, L'Allier (late) and Attorney Hawkins. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to accept minutes of meetings held <br />June 8, June 22 and July 5. 1977, Fran Burque seconded it, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. John Peterson presented council with <br />petition from the Mill Road residents requesting the oiling of <br />their street. Mayor informed residents the oiling would be <br />done on Monday, July 18. <br /> <br />Norm Fritchie was in attendance representing the Tennis Court <br />Committee and gave some background on the grant application <br />for the construction of two tennis courts in the City. John <br />Peterson made a motion to make formal application for grant <br />on the basis of what is in the application, Fran Burque seconded <br />it, motion carried. A resolution was passed to submit it as <br />prepared and make them aware that any additional information <br />they need will be submitted by clerk. <br /> <br />Two members of the Fire Department were in attendance stating <br />that the department will be bidding on the disposal of four <br />diseased elm trees on city property. Bid was not submitted at <br />this meeting. <br /> <br />Complaints were heard on the sewer construction clean up in <br />Centerville. <br /> <br />Formal application has been made by James Maher for the issuance <br />of the following licenses for Kelly'S Bar. <br />On Sale Liquor, Off Sale Liquor, On Sale Non-Intoxicating Liquor, <br />Sunday Liquor and Cigarette License. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept license applications from <br />the above applicant, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />The following was adopted as Section 6 of Ordinance #21: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #21 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AFFECTING THE GRANTING OF LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF <br />INTOXICATING BEVERAGES AND NON-INTOXICATING MALrBEVERAGES <br />The City Council of Centerville does ordain as follows. <br /> <br />SECTION 6 - Repeal. Section 2 of this ordinance adopted <br />August 6, 1946 is repealed. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of <br />day of July, 1977. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to adopt Section 6 of Ordinance #21 <br />John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br />
