<br />/~ <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />City Council meeting minutes <br />July IJ, 1977 - page two <br /> <br />Mayor informed council the following amendment had been sent to <br />John Boland of the Metro Council to be added to the paragraph <br />on Metropolitan Interceptors and Treatment Plants of the Center- <br />vil1e Systems Statement: "Should Centervi1le grow within their <br />urban service area at a faster rate than predicted, every effort <br />will be made to provide Centerville with needed sewer service <br />for their growth". <br /> <br />Mayor informed council the reapplication for the City of <br />Centervi1le on the Local Public Works Grant Program concerning <br />water mains and street restoration had been submitted on July <br />6, 1977. <br /> <br />Mayor informed council the application for sanitary sewer <br />extension in Center Oaks had been accepted by the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency and the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Attorney Hawkins informed council that the St. Genevieve's <br />appraiser on the church easement had submitted a figure of <br />$4100 on the 10' easement by the rectory and $600 on the <br />temporary easement by the church school. Mayor appointed <br />Fran Burque to meet with the church trustees and inform them <br />of same and ask for their help in getting this matter taken <br />care of. <br /> <br />Clerk informed council Robert's Restaurant has been issued <br />a set-up license by the Liquor Control Commissioner for the <br />period of July 1. 1977 to June JO, 1978. <br /> <br />Clerk informed council of Revenue Sharing check received by <br />City for $914. Elmer Murray made a motion to designate same <br />for Capital Improvements, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Fran Burque presented council with list of items requested <br />for the city to meet in regard to the placing of a lift station <br />on the Al Burque Estate property. <br /> <br />Clerk informed council of the present 'balance in the Sanitary <br />Sewer Fund and she was given authority to place it in a <br />financial institution where it would get the most interest. <br />She will report at next meeting on same. <br /> <br />The fOllowing checks were read for payment. from the Sanitary <br />Sewer Fund: #2092-2099. Elmer Murray made a motion to pay <br />the bills with the exception of #2098, John Peterson seconded <br />it, motion carried. #2098 is iS~;d.~~~2~ W. Houle Landscaping <br />and the estimate requested a 7% 'i . John Peterson made <br />a motion to change it to the original 10% J*~I~~'JLeon L'Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried. ~/~ ~7Q <br />The following checks were read for payment from the General Fund: <br />#3009-J038.
