<br />/ <br />( <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held a regular meeting <br />on Wednesday, March 2), 1977 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar <br />called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were Burque, <br />L'Allier, Murray, Peterson and Attorney Hawkins. <br /> <br />Minutes of meeting held March 9, 1977 were approved as read. <br /> <br />Mr. Sooger of Centennial District #12 gave a presentation on the <br />summer recreation program for the area and asked for a donation <br />to the program from the city. Matter was tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Floyd Kruger of Centerville appeared before council with request <br />for the council to look into the matter of constructing two tennis <br />courts in Centerville. The courts are proposed to be built on <br />school property and would be approximately 118x120 in size. <br />Approximate cost would be $1),000. Mr. Kruger requested clerk <br />to set up meeting between School District officials and council <br />to discuss matter. Leon L'Allier made a motion for the clerk <br />to call the Superintendent of District #12 and try to set up <br />meeting on matter in the near future, Fran Burque seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to approve the following easement <br />settlements: Frank Merabella - Parcel $225. <br />Constance Willert - Parcel #21 $210. <br />Kathleen Anderson - Parcel #5) - $67.50 <br />Charles Underwood - Parcel #7) - $255. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council of 2 public hearings to be held on <br />Wednesday, April 6th at the City Hall. The first is a hearing <br />on Center Oaks preliminary plat scheduled for 7:00 pm; the <br />second on L & B petition for rezoning a piece of property at <br />8:)0 pm. Planning and Zoning members are also being advised <br />of hearing. <br /> <br />Elmer reported on approximate price of the Smith & Wesson <br />.)8 revolver which Lino Lakes is interested in purchasing <br />from us to be $85. <br /> <br />Balance of meeting was devoted to drawing up sanitary sewer <br />ordinance for Centerville. Clerk was to type up proposed <br />copy and bring to next meeting. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion to adjourn meeting, Elmer Murray <br />seconded it, motion carried.
