<br />r <br /> <br />page three <br />Minutes - Meeting January 12, 1977 <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to purchase a copy of the Local and <br />Regional Planning in Minnesota booklet from the League of Minn. <br />Municipalities for $6., John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />John Peterson made a motion to send the clerk to the Basic <br />Bookkeeping Workshop on January 20 and 27 for a fee of $13.,' <br />Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council the city had received a check from the <br />Metro Council in the amount of $40.)8 described as a tax <br />equivalency payment. <br /> <br />Clerk advised council a Revenue Sharing check in the amount <br />of $931. had been deposited in the general fund at the First <br />State Bank of Hugo. John Peterson made a motion to designate <br />this amount for public safety, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mayor presented council with resume of 1977 police costs for <br />Lino Lakes and Centerville. The contract cost for Centerville <br />is based on $21.96 per capita cost x 620 population equalling <br />$13,615.20 or $3,40).80 per quarter. Elmer Murray made a motion <br />to approve cost on contract, John Peterson seconded it, motion <br />carried. The new contract will be sent to us later this month. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar read portions of letter from the Anoka County <br />Council of Economic Opportunity asking for financial support. <br />Matter was tabled. <br /> <br />Clerk read the following amendment to Ordinance #15- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 15, Section 16, Paragraph A - Subparagraph 1. <br />STREET LIGHTING. In single and multiple family developments, <br />the developer shall install residential ornamental street lights <br />and custom poles as recommended by Northern rStates Power Company <br />or Anoka Electric Cooperative, or comparable street lighting <br />fixtures and poles as recommended by City Engineer. In commercial <br />or industrial developments, the developer shall install commercial <br />or industrial metal poles and fixtures as recommended by Northern <br />States Power Company or Anoka Electric Cooperative or comparable <br />street lighting fixtures and poles as recommended by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />Subparagraph 2. STREET NAME AND TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS. In <br />single and multiple family developments, the developer shall <br />install all street name signs and traffic control signs as deemed <br />necessary by the City Engineer. This means an approximate increase <br />of $33.80 annually, or 10.6% to the average residential customer. <br />
