The City Council of the City of Centerville held their regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 1978 in the City Hall, Mayor <br />Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 Pm. Present were <br />Burque, L' Allier , Murray and Peterson. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to accept minutes , of meeting January <br />25, 1978, John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br />John Peterson made a motion to authorize the Mayor and Clerk <br />to sign the final plat of L' Allier Estates, Fran Burque seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to authorize the City Attorney to <br />start vacation proceedings on old Mound Trail within 45 days <br />from February 7, 1978, Leon L' Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br />The entire 66' road would be city right-of-way specified for <br />easement purposes and providing a scenic easement. <br />Mayor referred to letter from Department of Natural Resources <br />regarding the National Flood Insurance program. Clerk was to <br />send copy of letter to Walt Williams and also the Mayor would <br />call Mr. Lutgen for clarification on letter. <br />Floyd Kruger appeared before council advising that the Park <br />and Recreation Committee will be meeting the 1st Monday of <br />each month at 7:00 pm in the City Hall. First meeting is <br />scheduled for March 6th. <br />Discussion was held on bill submitted by Jerry Determan for <br />two hockey nets he has purchased for $75. for the city. <br />John Peterson made a motion to pay bill for hockey nets, <br />Elmer Murray seconded i t , motion carried. <br />Discussion was Yield on HUD small cities grant program. Work- <br />shopscheduled for this area would be March 23, , Radi ssion H'd tel <br />• the cit to <br />in Bloomington. Elmer Murray made a motion for y <br />pay expenses of Mayor in attending the workshop, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br />Resolution #5 concerning sanitary sewer permit fees, billing <br />and collection procedure was discussed. John Peterson made <br />a motion to adopt Resolution #5. Elmer Murray seconded it, <br />motion carried. Copy of Resolution #5 is attached to and <br />made apart of these minutes. <br />John Peterson made a motion to pay bills from checks #3255-3289 <br />from General Fund, #2147-2151 from the Sanitary Sewer Fund, <br />Fran Burque .seconded it, motion carried. Copy of bills paid <br />is attached to these minutes. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adjourn meeting, John Peterson <br />seconded i t , motion carried.
