page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes - January <br />259 1978 <br />The City Council directed the City Engineer to prepare a <br />feasibility study on whether bituminous surfacing of the <br />following streets is feasible: LaMotte Road, Heritage <br />Street, Progress Road, Sorel Street, Westview Street, <br />Brian Drive, Mill Road, Mound Trail, Peltier Lake Drive <br />and Goiffon Street. Fran Burque made a motion to authorize <br />Milner W. Carley & Associates to do a feasibility study <br />on the above streets, John Peterson seconded it, motion <br />carried. This is in a form of a Resolution which is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />Discussion was held on the Fire Department budget for <br />1978. The department has $600. remaining from 1977 and <br />with their 1978 budget figure of $5,226, this would give <br />them $5,826. to work with in 1978. <br />Clerk advised council checks #3248-3254 were issued from <br />the General Fund and check #2146 from the Sanitary Sewer <br />Fund. Deposits were also noted. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to adjourn meeting, Elmer Murray <br />seconded it, motion carried.
