The City Council of the City of Centerville met on Wednesday, May 17, 1978 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 6:45 pm . Present: Burque, L' Allier , Murray. Absent: Peterson. Meeting was held to ascertain the validity of the petition presented to the City Council on May 10, 1978, concerning a street restoration project. Elmer Murray made a motion to declare the petition valid, Fran Burque seconded i t , roll taken: Burque, aye; Murray, aye; L' Allier , nay; Prachar, aye, Motion carried. Fran Bur ue made a motion to hold a hearing on the improvement Project 1-78 on the 5th of June, 1978 in the council chambers at 7:00 pm, Elmer Murray seconded it, roll taken: Burque, aye; Murray, aye; L'Allier, nay; Prachar, aye, motion carried. (Meeting has since been changed to June 8, 1978, because of conflict with attorney and engineer.) Meeting was adjourned at 7:00 pm. Board of Review for the City of Centerville was opened at 7:02 pm. In attendance was Mr. Jones from the County Assessor's office. Clerk read the notice for the board of review. The following persons appeared before Boards Kasamer Dorscher - 7073 Centerville Road -Centerville PLAT 28019 -PARCEL 1580 Mrs. Frank Tuckner - 1351 Oldridge Avenue North - Stillwater PLAT 28019 -PARCEL 3300 Robert LaMotte - 1688 Heritage Street -Centerville PLAT 27$53 -PARCEL 255 Robert Koran - 6759 Centerville Road -Centerville PIAT 27826 - PARCEL 3030 The following parcel was discussed: PLAT 28019 -PARCEL 0240 Marcel Rivard - 7072 Progress Road - Centerville. A possible discrepancy was found on the above parcel and the assessor was instructed to investigate and rectify. The roll was accepted as presented. Board of Review adjourned at 9:30 pm. City Council meeting was immediately reconvened. Discussion was held on the purchase of an underground or overhead gas tank for use by the Fire Department.
