N.E.
COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, MN 55421
May 10, 1978
City Planning Commission and
City Council
City of Centerville
City Hall
Hugo, Minnesota 55038
Re: Proposed R.L.S. (Burque Property)
Members:
The present owners of the above property earnestly request
approval to file a Registered Land Survey, on the above stated
parcel. This land has been shown to the City as a sketch plan,
and a preliminary plat is being prepared. This, however, will
take a minimum of 3 months, before final approval, as a topo-
graphic map must be made, engineering plans must be drawn for
the road, and the crossing of Clearwater Creek , an environmental
worksheet must be evaluated, possible D. N. R. and Corps of
Engineers permits may be necessary, and approval must be made
by your bodies and the Rice Creek Watershed.
This R.L.S. is proposed for the following reasons:
1. The description on the Certificate of Title is extremely
lengthy, which will result in extra time being necessary
for checking by the Registrar of Titles, City Attorney,
Examiner of Titles and County Surveyor. Once this R.L.S.
would be filed, parcels for future redivision would be
simple. (Tract letter and R.L.S. No. only)
2. Proposed parcel "A" has been tentatively purchased. The
purchaser is extremely anxious to commence construction,
but cannot do so, as the Examiner and Registrar of Titles
will allow no further exceptions in the Certificate. The
purchaser of Tract "A" will, of course, have to comply
with your building restrictions, and obtain the necessary
permi ts.
