Pursuant to due call and notice thereof , the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville met on Wednesday, December 13, 1978 <br />in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order <br />at 7:00 Pm. Present were: Burque , L' Allier , Laska, Murray <br />and John Burke, Attorney, <br />Fran Burque made a motion to accept minutes of meeting held <br />November 22, 1978, Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. <br />Clerk informed council that consolidation hearing of Lino <br />Lakes and Centerville has been set for January 10, 1979 <br />9:00 AM in the Lino Lakes City Hall. <br />Mayor informed council of meeting to be held on Thursday, <br />December 14, in the Lino Lakes City Hall involving Lino <br />Lakes Council and members of the Rice Creek Watershed Board. <br />Clerk read model Resolution received from the Metropolitan <br />Waste Control Commission requesting the City of Centerville <br />to pass the Resolution necessary for the Commission to remain <br />eligible to apply for, receive, and retain federal grants <br />under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of <br />1972. Floyd Laska made a motion for the City to adopt <br />Resolution, Elmer Murray seconded i t , motion carried, Copy <br />of Resolution is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />Mrs. Laurel Kuchinski appeared before council with letter <br />requesting extension of sewer hook up for her house at <br />1724 Heritage Street until August of 1980. Letter was <br />taken under advisement by Attorney Burke. <br />Richard Carpenter of 14 East Golden Lake Road appeared before <br />council with request a change in the sanitary sewer assessment <br />number of units in the building at 7095 Centerville Road. After <br />discussion by council, Floyd Laska made a motion to change the <br />number of units on the second floor of the building at 7095 <br />Centerville Road from 3 units to two with one remaining unit <br />on the first floor making a total of 3 units in the building, <br />Leon L' Allier seconded it, motion carried. County Auditor <br />requests the motion be made in the form of a Resolution which <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />Paul Curtis of Beulke Agency, Inc. , presented an insurance <br />proposal for the City of Centerville. After much discussion <br />Mr. Curtis will bring amended proposal to the December 27th <br />meeting for the council's action. <br />Floyd Kruger presented council with an annual year end report <br />on the District Memorial Hospital and a copy of their audit <br />as of August 31, 1978• <br />Floyd Kruger presented recommendations to the Council from <br />the Park and Rec committee on items for the skating rink. <br />
