page two <br />City Council meeting <br />minutes -March 22, 1978 <br />A representative from the St. Paul Water Department was in <br />attendance and voiced the Water Department's position on <br />doing a survey to determine where their property lines are <br />located. Due to the time involved in conducting these <br />surveys Elmer Murray made a motion to continue the hearing <br />until the May 10th meeting, Leon L' Allier seconded i t , <br />motion carried. <br />The public hearing was adjourned and the regular meeting <br />convened at 8:37 pm. <br />Engineer Walt Williams was in attendance and handed out <br />copies of Plan A revised. One Plan A included one-half the <br />cost to complete Centerville Road and the other Plan A <br />did not include the costs or frontage for Centerville Road. <br />Both plans were discussed and Fran Burque made a motion to <br />hold a public hearing on the street restoration Project <br />#1-78 on Monday, April 17th at the Centerville Elementary <br />School at 7:00 pm and subsequent hearing at the City Council <br />meeting Wednesday, April 26, in the Council chambers at <br />7:00 pm, Elmer Murray seconded i t , motion carried with <br />John Peterson voting nay. <br />Preliminary sketch of Peltier Lake Hills was presented by <br />Jim Husnick and Rick Granger. Presentation of preliminary <br />sketch would be presented to the Planning and Zoning on <br />Tuesday, April 4, at 7:00 pm in the Council chambers. <br />Council authorized Mayor to write the Rice Creek Watershed <br />advising of numerous requests from landowners and other <br />interested parties stating they are not satisfied with the <br />cleanup that is being done on Clearwater Creek. <br />Consensus of the council was to advise the Fire Department <br />that painting of the Studebaker truck cost would come out <br />of their budget for 1978• <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adjourn meeting, John Peterson <br />seconded it, motion carried.
