<br />2 <br /> <br />Orville Hughes will be all done working for the City September <br />30th. Mr. Ed LaBossiere will be taking on the job of maintenance <br />man for the city. <br />Elmer Murray attended Community Education meeting August 12th. <br />Clerk reported on speed limit signs on Main Street. She will <br />call the Traffic Engineer at the State to get all the details on their <br />reason for raising the speed limit to 50 mph. <br />Salaries for councilmen and mayor was discussed. Elmer Murray <br />made a motion to raise councilmen salary to $25.00 a month and Mayor <br />salary to $50.00 per month, effective January 1, 1975, Leon L'Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br />Mayor read communications from the following. <br />Department of Natural Resources concerning flood insurance. <br />Metro Council's 5-year capital improvement program to include <br />open space. <br />Mr. Hawkins' letter concerning the Parent-Schilling debt due <br />City of $296.75 and asking attorney to contact Parent-Schilling <br />attorney once more to try and get the money. <br />Rice Creek Watershed District hearing on September 4, at <br />7130 pm in Centervil1e School concerning their overall plan for <br />the watershed district. . <br />Clerk had received 2nd half of fire contract money from Lino <br />Lakes in the amount of $1750.00.
