<br />16 - <br /> <br />Mr. Hawkins had made recommendations on police contract for <br />1974 with Lino Lakes which were agreeable with council and now <br />we are awaiting the contract from Lino for our approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Hawkins made 5 recommendations on the 1975 fire contpact <br />which were discussed and are going to be included subject to the <br />fire chier's approval. <br /> <br />1975 liquor applications fODms have been submitted and <br />motions made as follow: <br />Fran Burque made a motion to appect applications for cigarette <br />license and on-sale non-intoxicating liquor from Robert's Restaurant, <br />Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to appect applications for cigarette <br />license, dance permit, on sale liquor, off sale liquor, Sunday <br />liquor, off sale non-intoxicating liquor from Kelly's Bar, Leon <br />L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br />Fran Burque made a motion to appect applications for cigarette <br />license, on sale liquor, off sale liquor, Sunday liquor and off sale <br />non-intoxicating liquor from Sherms Trio Inn, Leon L'Allier seconded <br />it, motion carried. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion appect applications for cigarette <br />license, dance permit, on sale liquor, off sale liquor, Sunday liquor, <br />and off sale non-intoxicating liquor from Twin Lakes Supper Club, <br />John Peterson seoonaed it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor read report from State Fire Marshal's office on 7124 Pro- <br />gress Road listing recommendations to be made. Clerk was to contact <br />Amundsen to follow up on recommendations. <br /> <br />Mayor read letter from North SUburban Sewer Service Board <br />referring to meeting being held on Thursday, l'lovember 14 at 8 :00 nm <br />in the Fridley City Hall on north area study. <br /> <br />Mayor referred to letter from Sen. John Milton enclosing copy <br />of bulletin related to authori ty for municipali ties to d,efer payment <br />of assessments for senior citizens. <br /> <br />Results of NOvember 5, 1974 city election: John Peterson had <br />received 170 votes for a 4 year term as councilman. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on Forest Lake hospital board election on <br />November 5, 1974. Leon L'Allier made a motion for the city to <br />subscribe to the Forest Lakes Times, Fran Burque seconded it, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on letter from Crirnsoncross Kennel submitting <br />fees for 1975. Clerk was to verify various items in letter and <br />report at next meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor advised council of meeting to be held Friday, November <br />15 at 6:00 pm at the Sportsman's Club in Coon Rapids to meet and <br />confer with Mr. Oberstar. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray reported on Community Education meetings held <br />Ocotber 7 and November 4th. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier made a motion that we put up at least two lights <br />on lfuttle skating rink, Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br />
